Danny Brito is a Drummer, Percussionist, Composer and Artist based in Tucson Arizona. Raised in Nogales Arizona, Danny’s early interests in both the visual arts and music performance, has allowed him to become an artist that crosses both major mediums. In music, he has participated in masterclasses with many of the top Drummers and Percussionist in the industry. These include Dave Weckl, Horacio Hernandez, Ed Thigpen, Steve Houghton, John Santos, Antonio Sanchez, Avashai Cohen to name a few. Danny’s knowledge and respect for the art of music has crafted him into a versatile, creative percussionist whos experience expands across a colorful array of genres.
As a visual artist, Danny found this outlet early in childhood before music. A habitual doodler, his habit eventually converted to a heart felt passion for sharing his heart and soul through this medium. Mostly self taught, he recieved training in High School and College. His art dabbles in Mixed Media and Multi Media expressions that are unique, passionate and honest.
Danny Brito currently can be seen touring across the states directing and performing with Jarabe Mexicano, Producing his newest project "Guanachicano" , who's new single "Volver A Los Diecisiete" is available on all major digital media outlets including itunes and Spotify. Danny recently began making himself available as an educator locally also.
Danny most recently shared the stage with award winning artist Ry Cooder and Rene Camacho (WAR, Celia Cruz, Poncho Sanchez).
